Equilibration/ Occlusal Adjustments

If your bite appears crooked, it may be the reason for your jaw pain. Fortunately, with an occlusal adjustment, we can reshape various teeth so that your bite properly realigns. As a result, your facial muscles will begin to relax, creating greater comfort when performing normal daily tasks.

Occlusal Splints

To make the TMJ treatment process possible, we implement the use of customized occlusal splints. These are unique mouthguards designed for each individual and are worn while sleeping. Helping to shift the jaw in a way that encourages relaxation, your muscles and joints will begin to heal and remain in the proper position over time. As you continue to wear the splint, you’ll notice a dramatic change in how your mouth feels as well as the elimination of headaches and stiffness throughout your facial structure.
